Woman jumps into Chenab, rescued by boatman
Jammu, Apr 3: A married woman today jumped into River Chenab but was rescued by a boatman in Akhnoor area of this winter capital.
"A woman identified as Roshi Gosani (44), wife of Jai Krishen of Janipur Colony, this afternoon jumped in river Chenab from Jia Pota Ghat, Akhnoor," police here said. They said that she was rescued from the river by a local boatman.
"The woman is being questioned and family members have been informed," police added.
