6 IFS officers promoted in J&K

Jammu: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has announced the promotion of six Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir and one officer in Ladakh. The promotions are effective from January 1, 2025, and acknowledge the officers' dedication to forest and environmental conservation.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Ramesh Kumar, ArashdeepSingh, Anup Kumar Soni, Anurag Arya, Navneet Singh and Suresh Manda
In Ladakh, Mandeep Mittal has been promoted. Mittal currently serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests in the Union Territory.
These promotions reflect the Ministry's recognition of the officers’ efforts in safeguarding the environment, managing forest resources, and implementing sustainable policies in their regions. The Ministry has directed the officers to assume their new roles immediately and submit charge assumption reports to the competent authority. Further transfer or posting orders, if required, will be issued separately.
