Here’s what you can do in your bedroom in order to prevent cancer:

Thermoplastic is used for the production of nylon, polyester, and acrylic, which are all synthetic materials. When you heat up some of these fabrics, plastic molecules are released. Furthermore, the clothes that are considered to be wrinkle-free, plastic and formaldehyde are released and directly absorbed into your body through the skin.
4. Remove Chemically Treated Drapes or Shades
Drapes and shades hold dust, pollen, and other harmful substances and allergens. For that reason, remove your old chemically treated drape or shades and buy some that are made of organic material. If that is expensive for you, consider sewing them.

Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product which contains formaldehyde, which can deteriorate any respiratory health issues, such as asthma or lung diseases. It can also damage the membrane of the mucous and trigger contact dermatitis. This substance is related to cancer, especially to throat cancer. Particle board also contains formaldehyde.

Moreover, another thing that you should remove from your bedroom is any kind of pillows that are stain-free and waterproof because they have been sprayed with dangerous chemicals.

The best choice for your floor is to leave it free of rugs, only wood or tile floor. Small accent rugs may look nice, but they are not healthy since they keep the dirt inside them and are commonly made of antimony. This substance is cancer-causing and dangerous to the heart, liver, lungs, and skin.

Shoes can have traces of pollen, dirt, and other harmful substances and chemicals from the outdoors. Therefore, make sure that you always keep your shoes outside your home, and especially out of your bedroom, so that you protect yourself from these hazardous chemicals.
