SRINAGAR: The education department has initiated the Online Transfer Drive for 2024.
This drive is applicable to Teachers, Masters, Lecturers, Principals, and equivalent roles, including Headmasters, ZEOs, and other administrative positions within the educational sector.
The notification detailing the conditions, procedures, and schedule for the Online Transfer Drive for the academic year 2024-2025 has been issued by the School Education Department.
The initiative aims to streamline the transfer process for educational staff across various zones in the region.
The notification specifies that employees serving in Zones I & II with a tenure of three years or more are required to apply for transfers, while those in Zones III, IV, and V can apply optionally based on their tenure.
Additionally, employees seeking transfers within their current zones or those on medical grounds, security reasons, or single-parent status are encouraged to apply, provided they submit the necessary documentary proof.
Employees in surplus categories and those holding administrative posts are also mandated to participate in the transfer process. Special considerations are given to female staff working outside their domicile districts and employees willing to serve in Zones IV & V.
Applications must be submitted online through the School Education Department's portal (schedujammu.nic.in/atd) from July 22 to August 25, 2024. The department has emphasized the importance of accurate information, as false or fabricated submissions will lead to rejection and potential disciplinary action.
The final decisions on transfer requests will be made based on administrative needs, employee performance, and vacancy availability, adhering strictly to the Transfer Policy-2023. For any queries, employees can reach out to their respective Directorates for assistance.
