Uttar Pradesh: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized the transformative power of education during his address at the Annual Day Function of JS Group of Institutions in Varanasi. Congratulating the management, teachers, and students, the Lieutenant Governor lauded the institution's contribution to the education sector and extended his best wishes to everyone associated with it.
Highlighting the pivotal role of science and technology in shaping India’s future, the Lieutenant Governor stressed the need for modern education to reach every individual in society to foster collective progress and prosperity. “Education is the process of self-discovery. It is the art of sculpting individuality. Education not only trains individuals in specific skills and knowledge but also develops latent intellectual, artistic, and humanitarian abilities,” he remarked.
Addressing the teaching fraternity, the Lieutenant Governor called for greater mentorship and guidance to nurture students’ inherent potential. He urged educators to empower students to contribute meaningfully to nation-building and societal development.
The Lieutenant Governor also highlighted the revolutionary transformations being led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in sectors such as education, industry, and technology. “Today's classroom will give a new shape to tomorrow's factory. It is the responsibility of our educational institutions to collaborate with industries and prepare smart technical professionals for smart factories,” he said.
During the event, the Lieutenant Governor inaugurated the Administrative Block of JS Public School, Sadhoganj, Varanasi. He commended the JS Group of Institutions for its dedication to advancing education and creating opportunities for students to excel in various fields.
The function showcased the commitment of educational institutions like the JS Group to fostering innovation and holistic development in students, reaffirming the importance of education in building a brighter, inclusive future for the nation.
